The orb photos here look really
good and although there really isn't a way to verify a "true orb"
photo, these look genuine because of their brightness and because they were
taken in the daytime. I should take the time however, to say that there is a controversy
as to whether a flash should be used during daytime photo shoots. I don't know
if the flash was on during these photos but generally the
flash on many camera types can inadvertently be left on automatic unless they are
deliberately turned off. It's important to know that the flash can actually
reflect off dust and other airborne particles even in daylight, so keep
that in mind, especially with digital cameras. Dust up close to the lens
looks like perfectly formed balls of light. The other question we should ask
is whether an orb will show up on film at
all without the aid of a flash? The flash actually seems to expose both genuine and false
positive orbs.
